Educational programs on nature conservation
In order to learn about the diversity of educational programs implemented by the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, students of the 2nd year of Andragogy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade visited the Institute on November 20th, 2018. The visit was realized as part of the optional course Education for Sustainable Development, which is taught by the professor Violeta Orlović Lovren.
Nataša Panić, Head of the Institute’s Group for Education, Publishing and Communication presented to students the work in the field of education on the conservation of nature, types, content and organizational models of educational programs on nature conservation on the example of place and role of an Andragogist at the Institute. During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn about all the fields of work of the Institute, to visit the exhibition titled "Nature conservation in Serbia" and get acquainted with the rich publishing activity of the Institute.
In addition to the visit of students of andragogy, during the past week the Institute was visited by students of the secondary school of chemistry and agriculture and the primary schools "Milan Rakić" and "Branko Radičević" from Belgrade, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities in the protection of our natural heritage, and to visit the permanent exhibition "Nature conservation in Serbia".
