NATURE PARK
Nature park is an area of well-conserved natural values with predominantly conserved natural ecosystems and picturesque landscapes, which is intended for the conservation of overall geological, biological and landscape diversity, as well as to meet the scientific, educational, spiritual, aesthetic, cultural, tourist, health and recreational needs and to enable other activities harmonized with traditional ways of life and principles of sustainable development.
Economic and other activities that would threaten its essential features and values are not allowed within the nature park.
Measures of protection, the manner of performing economic activities and the use of natural values in the nature park are further defined by the act on the designation of a protected area – Nature Park (NP).
