As part of the activities of the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia in the field of education and training of young professionals to participate in nature conservation, a visit to the Institute was paid at the end of April by the 4th year students of the Department of Forestry and Nature Conservation of the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade.
The visit was realized within the teaching program of the subject Organization and Business Operations in Forestry. To that end, a presentation was held on the work of the Institute regarding the systems and methods of nature conservation in our country, and the work of the World Conservation Union, the Office for Southeast Europe and Central Asia (IUCN ECARO). After the presentations, the students visited the permanent exhibition of the Institute "Nature Conservation in Serbia", and were introduced to the library fund of the Institute, as well as the possibility of using this exceptional fund covering the field of nature protection and conservation, biodiversity, geodiversity and protected areas.
