The Potential Protected Areas
Natural areas in the process of designating a protected status are natural areas for which the Institutes for Nature Conservation have submitted the study on protection to the competent authority, and following that the Ministry of Environmental Protection has informed the public about the procedure of initiating designation by posting the document containing that information on the website of the Ministry.
Areas for which the designating procedure has been commenced are considered protected, and the measures prescribed in the study on protection shall apply until the adoption of the act on designation.
Natural areas, the proposals of which have been submitted for adoption are natural areas for which the Institutes for Nature Conservation have submitted the study on protection to the competent authority, and for which the Ministry of Environmental Protection has not posted a notice on the procedure of initiating designation on the website of the Ministry
Registered natural resources are areas, species and movable natural specimen of importance for protection, for which the protection procedure hasn`t been initiated or implemented.
