Protected areas according to laws until 2009
Memorial monuments of nature and Natural areas surrounding the immovable cultural property are protected natural resources that have been protected according to the law preceding the Law on Nature Conservation (Official Gazette of RS no. 36/2009, 88/2010 and 91/2010, 14/2014 and 95/2018 - another law), and for which a revision of conservation status is stipulated.
Memorial monuments of nature are specific natural sites and areas of special natural values, which are related to historical or legendary events.
Natural areas surrounding the immovable cultural property constitute a spatial unit with that immovable cultural property and its immediate surroundings and are of importance for the protection of the cultural property.
